JOB VACANCY: ARCHITECT FOR INNOVATIVE TIMBER BUILDING<\/strong><\/p>\n

We are looking for a motivated architect for an innovative building project with a novel timber shell structure. Responsibilities include leading the architectural design of the project from schematic design to construction within an interdisciplinary team of consulting engineers, ICD researchers and the timber manufacturer. The project will be located at a prominent site in the centre of a German city. <\/p>\n

Required skills and experiences:<\/strong>
\n\u2022\tStrong motivation and interest in unconventional building structures
\n\u2022\tVery good Rhino skills (Scripting \/ Grasshopper skills are advantageous)
\n\u2022\tExperience in detail design
\n\u2022\tVery Good German language skills
\n\u2022\tIdeally 3-5 years of professional work experience<\/p>\n

Project:<\/strong> Innovative timber building (approx. 1300 qm) in a prominent city centre location in Germany<\/p>\n

Duration of project:<\/strong> approx. one year from design to construction (with longer term employment perspective) <\/p>\n

Salary:<\/strong> Competitive salary, based on qualification<\/p>\n

Start Date:<\/strong> 1. September 2017 (negotiable)<\/p>\n

Wir suchen f\u00fcr ein innovatives Bauprojekt mit einer neuartigen Holzschalenkonstruktion eine\/n motivierte\/n Architekt\/in, die\/der das Vorhaben von der Entwurfsphase bis zur Ausf\u00fchrung an der Schnittstelle mit einem interdisziplin\u00e4ren Team aus Fachingenieuren, ICD Forschern und dem Holzbaubetrieb entwickelt. Das Bauprojekt befindet sich in prominenter Lage im Zentrum einer deutschen Stadt. <\/p>\n

Voraussetzungen:<\/strong>
\n\u2022\tHohe Motivation und Interesse an unkonventionellen Bauweisen
\n\u2022\tSehr gute Rhino-Kenntnisse (Scripting \/ Grasshopper-Kenntnisse sind von Vorteil)
