\nOn 19th of February Prof. Achim Menges will deliver the AIA St. Louis Scholarship Fund Lecture as part of the Sam Fox School Public Lecture Series of the Washington University in St. Louis. Other speakers include Bernard Tschumi, Jesse Reiser and Nanako Umemoto.

\nOn 20th of February he will lecture at the University of Michigan as part of the Taubmann College of Architecture\u2019s lecture series. This spring\u2019s speakers include Toshiko Mori, Jeanne Gang and Daniel Liebeskind amongst others.

\nAchim Menges is invited to deliver the opening presentation of the \u201cAdaptive Architecture and Programmable Matter \u2013 Next Generation Building Skins and Systems from Nano to Macro\u201d session on 9th of April. Other invited speakers of the NSF supported session include Michelle Addington (Yale), Joanna Aizenberg (Harvard), Philip Beesley (University of Waterloo), Manuel Kretzer (ETH Zurich) and Skylar Tibbits (MIT).

\nAchim Menges will present at the Active Matter Summit at MIT. The two-day conference will consist of a range of talks and discussion from leading researchers in materials science, art & design, synthetic biology and soft-robotics along with leaders from government, public institutions and industry.
